Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

This is a hybrid (verbal/hands-on) challenge.

The Challenge:

Your team will tell a story, involving pictures of the owner of an old mirror and three "reflections" in the old mirror.

The Scene:

You are reading story from an old fairy tale book. The story is about a "magic" mirror through which the owner can see the future. The book contains a picture of the owner of the mirror but ends abruptly, with only three pictures of reflections in the mirror. Your job is to tell the story, using these 3 pictures.

Materials:

3 pictures
1 sheet white notebook paper (maybe used to gather ideas but may not be used in the final presentation)
3 sharpened pencils

Directions:

Your team will have 5 minutes to write your story and practice presentation. Your team will then have 3 minutes to present the story in any way you choose.

Scoring:

5 points for each full minute of the presentation

15 points for the overall originality of the story
15 points for the creativity of the interpretation of the pictures
10 points for the integration of each picture into the story
25 points for the overall quality of the story (characters, theme, structure)
25 points for teamwork
